Objectives include:

  • Introducing a new model of emotional well being based on neuroscience and the autonomic nervous system (ANS): Dr. Stephen Porges’ Polyvagal Theory and Attachment Theory (Social Engagement theoriests: Drs. Bowlby, Ainsworth, J.Panksepp, R. Lanius, E. Tronick)
  • To discover how to work somatically (ie. via the body). For many, this may prove to be the easier route to exploring and modulating an inner state over working with cognitions (ie. your thoughts). (This is also an important step for getting into the "issues" part of the Program.)
